Scope and Contents Collection contains images taken by J.D. Roderick for the Bureau of Reclamation that were specific to Boise from 1966-1969. The images were used to advertise/market the importance of electricity and precipitation. Each image is accompanied by an identical negative and an envelope that at one time housed both the image and the negative. Noteably the postcards depict Arrow Rock Dam, High School Park, the Natatorium, the Y.M.C.A building, Boise High School, the Boise Depot, the Federal Building, Main Street, view from Owyhee Hotel, and the Idaho State Capitol building.
